The Mannum Hotel on Randell Street is within easy walking distance to the the Mannum Caravan Park - our accommodation for a few days. We enjoyed a drink in the Sports Bar of this historic hotel. Apparently the Mannum Hotel was build in 1869 and was originally known as Bogan offering accommodation and food for people travelling along the river. This is a lovely old building with wrought iron along the upstairs verandah and sandstone blocks exposed on the upper level.
The Dining room is open for lunch and dinner and the Bottlo-O bottleshop is open for takeaway drinks from 10 am until 10 pm. There were a number of locals drinking at the Mannum Hotel on the night we stopped by which created a friendly atmosphere.
