Stock Exchange Cafe - Charters Towers

The Stock Exchange Cafe can be found in the Stock Exchange Building on Mosman Street in Charters Towers - just along from the Visitor Information Centre. We had Coffee which was very good and the service was friendly and happy. They had been very busy all morning with a fund-raising morning tea but were still pleasant - the meals and cakes looked fresh and homemade.

This cafe is situated in the old stock exchange building which is worth a visit in its own right. Apparently this was the first exchange built outside a capital city and was used during the busy gold mining days.
