Lungkata Walk is one of the walks at the base of Uluru (Ayers Rock) between the Marla car park and Kuniya car park. It is about four kilometres return from either end and will take about one and half hours.
We rode our bikes around the base of Uluru and the Lungkata Walk formed part of this well sealed track. There are many great photo opportunities so remember to take a camera. This walk is wheelchair accessible.
It can be very hot in the red centre of Austrlia and you are advised to carry plenty of water on any of these walks, wear a hat and sunscreen (even in winter) and have enclosed walking shoes.
