Old Bar Tavern

Old Bar Tavern is located on the corner of Salt Water Road and Old Bar Road as you head towards the coast from Taree. The car park out the back has plenty of space available for visitors and they have a courtesy bus that travels into Old Bar for those wanting to enjoy a night out. A children's playground is located next to the beer garden so you can keep an eye on the kids while enjoying a drink and listening to some live music on a Sunday afternoon. The Tavern has also created a children's game area inside.

Michaels Chinese Restaurant is a draw card of the Old Bar Tavern and I have heard some good reports about the food they provide - large servings and a great range of menu items. The tavern is a bit run down but we found the service friendly and efficient.
