While exploring down town Albury, NSW we noticed a lovely bright building announcing the Flying Fruit Fly Circus. We stopped to see if we could go inside and watch these amazing young athletes during training. This is not a problem and after signing in as a visitor you can view the activities through windows upstairs. Of course no photos are allowed inside but you will see some fabulous talent from dedicated students who train hard to perfect their skills.
The Flying Fruit Fly Circus is one of the world’s leading youth arts companies, who regularly tour the country with their circus-based theatre for young people. We spoke to one of the staff who was happy to spend time with us explaining the routines being practiced in the large training area.
We thoroughly enjoyed this visit and highly recommend you call in and support this truly unique Australian programme. They regularly conduct local performances so keep your eye out when visiting Albury / Wadonga or check their website - http://fruitflycircus.com.au
