The River Deck is a lovely restaurant/cafe in Albury that has a deck area overlooking the Murray River. It is located near beautiful picnic spots and next to a children's playground. They not only have a range of meals using local food but also have a takeaway menu for mums or dads wanting to keep a closer eye on the children outside. There is a cosy fireplace inside for winter months or you can enjoy the open deck during warmer weather.
Behind the café is a public shower and toilet block which seemed to be fairly new and popular with locals out for a walk along the riverbank.
The River Deck is open from 8 am to 4 pm (Wednesday - Saturday) and they serve dinner on Friday and Saturday from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
