The Albury Visitor Information Centre is housed in a beautiful old two story building near the Albury Railway Station, and close to the central business district of this NSW town. There are plenty of parking spaces near the information centre which is surrounded by lovely gardens.
Remember to visit the railway station while in this part of town - an historic building with a great interior.
Albury / Wodonga's location on the Hume Freeway means it is an easy drive from Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra. These two large country towns sit either side of the mighty Murray River (the border between NSW and Victoria).
There are lots of accommodation options in town and the Albury Visitor Information Centre are happy to help with booking and/or information.
We make it a point to call into a visitor information centre when we first arrive in a new place - great to gather some local knowledge on waht to see and do.
