BIG4 Albury Tourist Park

The owners of this BIG4 park are Craig and Kerrie who have been working hard since their purchase to improve the grounds and facilities of this centrally located park in Albury NSW. Guests who stay here regularly say that the improvements already made have been quite amazing.  The cabins are timber clad buildings - they look a bit old and tired on the outside but inside is clean and well equipped.

The cabins are very popular with families and I understand the park is often fully booked on weekends. Features of the park are;

• Shaded Pool
• backpacker accommodation - several dorms suitable for large groups (located above the amenities)
• dump point
• enclosed camp kitchen with comfortable lounge seating and TV – long SS bench and large oven with gas cook top. Lovely bright coloured chairs and long white tables to give the room a bright happy feel. This room is fully glassed providing plenty of natural light for diners.
• outdoor barbeque with covered seating
  
• drive-through sites

The amenities are a little old but provide plenty of hot water. They have brightened the amenities  by painting each toilet and shower door a different colour. An added touch to this friendly caravan park is the supply of shower mats and hand towels in amenities for the use of guests.  A laundry basket is supplied for used mats and towels which are washed and replaced each day.

The BIG4 Albury Tourist Park is within walking distance of two pubs with nice meals, an Aldi supermarket, baker and large shopping centre - very convenient.

Land has been acquired beside the park to increase the number of sites and build a new amenities block. I hope to head back to Albury in a year or so and see what changes have been made.
