Dongara Tourist Park - Port Denison

Dongara Tourist Park is a Top Tourist Park member (Top Parks), located on George Street in Port Denison. We stayed at Dongara Tourist Park while visiting the area on large slab sites protected from the wind. It was very windy during our trip down the West Australian Coast and we were grateful for a bit of relief at this very welcoming caravan park on South Beach.  

Dongara Tourist Park is large and has a huge range of powered and unpowered sites with colourful cabins perched on the hill overlooking the Indian Ocean. Our site (30) had a large cement slab for van and awning with a grassed area for the car - it was separated from the next site by a row of trees (Conifers). Plenty of room in a very neat row.

Features of this caravan park are:

• Bali style barbeque area
• camp kitchen - large and well shaded (check out the artwork scattered around the perimeter) - ample seating
• large jumping pillow.
• new area catering for large caravans and fifth wheelers 
• drive thru sites
• family/special needs bathroom - laundry
• dump point
• fish cleaning area
• dogs welcome (check with manager)

We were lucky enough to be visiting Dongara-Port Denison during the Larry Lobster Festival which was held within walking distance of the Dongara Tourist Park - very convenient. We found the staff very welcoming and helpful and would not hesitate to recommend this Top Tourist park to friends and family.
