We parked at the Piccaninny Creek car park and set off on a walk that took us past bee-hive domes, into Cathedral Gorge and then along Piccaninny Creek to the lookout. You will be able to view parts of the spectacular Bungle Bungle Range and surrounding countryside. This is well worth the effort and will take you a couple of hours.
Piccaninny Creek car park is at the southern end of Purnululu National Park and has toilet facilities as well as shaded picnic tables. This was our first stop when visiting the National Park and we managed to complete the walk before the temperature was too hot.
