The Vlamingh Head Lighthouse is located 17km north of the Exmouth looking over Ningaloo Marine Park and the Indian Ocean. It has the distinction of being one of the few places in Australia where you can watch the sun rise and set. Vlamingh Head Lighthouse was within walking distance of our accommodation at the Lighthouse Caravan Park on Yardie Creek Road.

The Lighthouse was built in 1912 and stands on the northernmost tip of the Cape Range with great views and plenty of parking - can be very windy.

The Lighthouse is worth a stop for some amazing views of the region. You have to drive past it to access the National Park, so why don't stop in next time?
