Town Beach in Broome is on Roebuck Bay and can be found at the end of Robinson Street. This is a great spot for a picnic or swim and there is a boat ramp nearby to head out into the Bay if you want to try some fishing in these beautiful waters. We found that there was plenty of car parking spots available, and there is a great children's water play area near the Cafe overlooking the Bay. This is a very popular spot and the Cafe has plenty of seating out front which is shaded.
Town Beach is one of the places to visit and watch the Staircase to the Moon phenomenon which occurs when there is a full moon rising over the mud flats during a very low tide - the Broome Visitor Information Centre can give you dates.
