Matsos Broome Brewery

Matso's Broome Brewery can be found on Hamersley Street in Broome overlooking Roebuck Bay. It is housed in an historical part of town and the building it occupies dates back to 1910. You can eat inside, on the lovely verandah, or in the garden shaded by sails and large trees - they all overlook Roebuck Bay.

We headed to Matso's for lunch and to try some of their famous beer. Our favourite is the ginger beer - we have found Matso's beer available in many outlets around Australia. The food was very nice with interesting flavours, the view is magnificent and the service is prompt and friendly.

This is a very popular place and we were very lucky to get a table on the verandah - I suggest you book ahead. You can also buy take away beer from the shop.
