Broome Visitor Information Centre

The Broome Visitor Centre can be found at 1 Hamersley Street Broome, Western Australia (first roundabout as you enter town). This is a large centre with lots of parking and plenty of information about Broome and the Kimberley region - accommodation, tours, adventures, cruises and travel etc.

Dee was the staff member who helped us organise the tours we wanted to join while staying in Broome. She was really friendly and gave us as much time as we needed to make our decisions - and then booked all the tours for us. She also gave us wonderful advice about things to see around town - marking them on the map.

Broome Visitor Centre has a great range of souvenirs, brochures, maps and locally made products as well as fabulous artwork. I think you should make this centre your first stop - there is so much to see in and around Broome  - you do not want to come all this way and miss something of particular interest.

The Courthouse Collection is a pearl jewellery shop located alongside the Broome Visitor Centre - very reasonable and a great place to start looking for pearl items to take home.
