Bindoon Bakehaus

Bindoon is a small place about 83 kilometres north of Perth just off the Great Northern Highway. We had been told during our trip that the Bindoon Bakehaus was a great place to go for authentic sourdough bread so we detoured and called in for lunch.

This is a very busy bakery with a great variety of goodies and plenty of tables inside and out in a large covered area. They have a huge range of products to cater for all tastes including:

• Coffee and tea - they use 5 senses coffee and Five Senses Tea
• breads, rolls, specialty loaves and baguettes - no additives or preservatives
• pies, sausage rolls etc 
• salad rolls, wraps, frittatas  quiches, lasagna and risotto cake
• soup available during cooler months
• vegetarian and gluten-free options 
• cakes, cookies, pastries and slices 

Unfortunately that had not made sourdough on the day we called in (I should have checked what days this bread is baked) but we did enjoy a lunch of beautiful pies and salad with a great cup of coffee They also have a range of gifts and such a huge collection of baked goodies that it is hard to decide where to start.
