The Turquoise Way Trail is a 6.5 kilometre sealed track from the Jurien Bay Marina along the coast to the southern end of town - great for walking, jogging or bike riding. We rode our bikes from the Jurien Bay Tourist Park (near Dobbyn Park) and headed towards the Marina - then turned around and headed south back past the tourist park to the other end of Turquoise Way Trail.
There are plenty of spots along the way to enjoy a picnic in the shade, or access the beaches for a swim. We headed down several tracks running from this trail towards the ocean to look at the islands offshore - beautiful scenery. There are informative signs along the way explaining the history of the sand dunes (changes in ocean depth) and names of native plants beside the path.
The trail passes through the Dobbyn Park foreshore area that has grassed picnic spots, public toilets, beach access, playgrounds, outdoor gym, shower and drinking water fountains. There are limited drinking water facilities along the trail, other than at Dobbyn Park, so we carried plenty of water with us. We really enjoyed our ride on this well maintained trail - a great way to spend a lovely afternoon in Jurien Bay.
