Jurien Bay Marina was built in 1988 and provides a safe place for the large number of crayfishing (lobster) boats operating from this part of the coast. Jurien bay is ranked among the top WA fishing spots and there are four boat launching and retrieval ramps within the Marina. They even have a floating pontoon located adjacent to the ramps for easy access to your boat.
The Marina has fish cleaning facilities, toilets and showers. We rode along the coast on the Turquoise Way walking/cycling track from our caravan at the Jurien Bay Tourist Park. The Turquoise Way is a 6.5 kilometre track from Jurien Bay Marina along the coast to the southern end of town. This is a great way to view the Marina and we stopped at the protected beach along one side of the harbour to enjoy the facilities. Jurien Bay Marina is a great place to visit in this beautiful little coastal town in West Australia.
