Adjacent to Wodonga, across the border is the New South Wales city of Albury. Wodonga is located wholly within the boundaries of the City of Wodonga LGA. Its population is approximately 37,500 people, and with Albury forms an urban area with approximately 90,000 people in 2013, it was Victoria's fastest growing regional city.© Wikipedia

Wodonga is a large Victorian Country town (city) on the banks of the mighty Murray River. Of course everyone knows that it is just across the river from Albury (NSW) and the Murray River forms the border between the two states.
Wodonga is located alongside the Hume Freeway between Sydney and Melbourne and is the perfect place stop for a break in travel and explore this beautiful region. We visited the Lake Hume, Beechworth and the Rutherglen wine region while staying in the area.
A great place to visit.
