I am sure you have heard of Constitituion Dock in Hobart, Tasmania as this is where the infamous Sydney to Hobart Yacht race finishes each year. This beautiful area of Hobart is surrounded by historic sandstone buildings that now house various businesses, restaurants and galleries displaying timber products, artworks etc.
There are several fresh fish outlets along Constitution Dock and I highly recommend that you try some fresh seafood while visiting Hobart. At the north of the waterfront is the Gasworks Village where you can browse through galleries and craft shops and sample whisky at the distillery. Constitution Dock is located at the southeast end of Franklin Wharf, on Sullivan’s Cove, and is a 5-minute walk from the city centre.
