The Port Lincoln Visitor Information Centre in located in the main shopping area - opposite the Port Lincoln Post Office - we made this our first stop. The staff are very friendly and helpful with loads of information on tours available around Port Lincoln. They suggested that we head up to the lookout first and get an idea of the size of the port and surrounding area - you will see that this is a huge body of water.
The Visitor Information Centre has an extensive gift shop with locally made products as well as souvenirs. A video is playing in the main area that gives you an insight into the tuna farming in Port Lincoln and how these large pens are transported from the southern ocean.
