Mount Isa Bureau of Meteorology Tour

While in Mount Isa you are able to join a free tour of the Mount Isa Bureau of Meteorology. These tours are conducted at 8.30 am each Wednesday and bookings are essential - call during office hours Monday to Thursday. We decided to put out names down for this tour and find out how the bureau collects information about the weather in the area, and who uses this data.

We did learn a lot about how readings are made but unfortunately the person conducting this tour was very negative.
