The Malanda Bakery can be found on English Street, Malanda, Queensland and is highly recommended by the RvTrips team. We were walking around Malanda taking some photos of the local area and decided to head into the bakery for morning tea - great decision.
We had a sausage roll – with mashed potato and peas on top – and a chocolate hedgehog slice - both delicious. They provide seating inside and out and it was so busy that we invited two local ladies to sit at our table. One of these ladies had grown up in the nearby Historical Village of Herberton and she had some wonderful stories.
Malanda Bakery has good coffee, a variety of pies, pastries, cakes and sandwiches as well as really friendly staff. We like to support local businesses in small country towns and suggest you visit Malanda Bakery when in the area.
