Alice Springs Golf Club

The Alice Springs Golf Course looks like lovely green course and during our visit we watched a number of people playing a round of golf. The road leading to the golf club entrance has some beautiful houses overlooking the course and this looks like a very nice part of town.

Some great scenery surrounds the Club with views up to the MacDonnell Ranges and I understand that it can be very unforgiving and challenging if you stray off the fairway. This Golf Course is suitable for golfers of all skill levels and seemed to have plenty of carts for hire - I think these would be essential on hot days in this part of Australia.  
 
The Clubhouse looked most welcoming for a cold drink after the game and they even have an award winning restaurant - Range View.  As the name would suggest the restaurant offers great view of the ranges while you enjoy your meal - open for dinner from 3 pm - 8 pm Tuesday to Sunday, and lunch from 12 noon - 3 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

I will make sure we have our clubs packed for the next visit to Alice Springs.
