As you drive into Nambucca Heads along Riverside Drive (southern entrance) you will see the RSL Club on the hill and directly in front of the car parking area is the Nambucca Boadshed and Cafe.
What a lovely spot on the water with a range of watercraft and fishing gear available from the Boatshed - boats, kayaks or paddle boards to explore the river.
The Cafe was very busy during our visit and has a lovely verandah overlooking the beautiful Nambucca River - in fact there is seating on three sides of the cafe. Shade at any time of day. The cafe offers free wi-fi with your order and even has a pet friendly grassed area alongside the main building. Wheelchair access is available.
A walking track runs from the Visitor Information Centre to the V-Wall and passes by the Nambucca Boatshed and Cafe - a great spot to stop for coffee.
