We flew over the Osmond Range during our tour with Kingfisher Air from Kununurra in Western Australia (I am unclear about the spelling of this range - some literature has 'Osmond' and Department of Parks and Wildlife has 'Osmand' - you can type either spelling into google).
These magnificent wave like ridges are over 1600 million years old and were formed when an uplift occurred along the Osmond Fault.
You can also see view these ranges from the ground at 'The Osmand Range Lookout' - northern end of Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungles) - a short walk from the Echidna Chasm car park. They are spectacular in the early morning or late afternoon light.
