South Gregories is located within Francois Peron National Park, Shark Bay in Western Australia. This was our first stop when visiting the national park for some morning tea. South Gregories is one of the many camping spots around the park where you will find Eco Toilets and shaded picnic tables. The camping spots are large and I understand there is a generator camping area and non-generator camping area at each location. Very well organised.
South Gregories is a good spot for fishing, canoeing and launching a boat although it was very windy on the day we visited. This is an interesting beach with shells and fossils found in the rocks. Access to South Gregories is by 4WD along sandy tracks - air compressors are located near the entrance to Francois Peron National Park to help adjust tyre pressures.
