At 1,400 metres above sea level, Dingo Dell is located about 30 km from Porepunkah as you drive through Mount Buffalo National Park on the way to the Horn Lookout. This is a designated toboggan slope during winter but there was no snow to be seen when we called in for a toasted sandwich and toilet stop.
The facilities at Dingo Dell include first aid take away food and drink, an eating area, toilets and change rooms. The visitor centre has a range of park information as well as walking track maps.
This is well sign posted form Mt Buffalo Road and there are plenty of car parking spaces to stop safely. Dingo Dell is open from 10 am to 5 pm Wednesday to Sunday (plus Mondays and Tuesdays during peak times).
