Jayco Stirling Outback 21.65-2

The RV Trips team has owned a number of caravans over the years.  One of the caravans being used at the moment is a 2013 Jayco Stirling Outback (model 21.65-2). We bought this from Watson’s Caravans in Port Macquarie.  This model has a slide out at the side which allows space for a full size queen bed with plenty of room to walk around the base.  There is a full ensuite and and a small washing machine located at the rear of the van.  The kitchen bench is built across the front with adequate bench space and a separate grill and oven.  This model has a cafe style table as well as extra seating along the opposite wall.  The seats are leather and very easy to clean.

We have traveled thousands of kilometres around Australia and the Stirling Outback has been fantastic, very easy to tow and packed with useful features. The Alko ESC (stability control) on the van is invaluable and has activated several  times during our trips. We would not own a van now without having the Alko ESC installed.

Our Jayco Stirling Outback has an extended A-frame, and a Fiama bike carrier fitted to the back.  The washing machine has been very useful and we would look for one in the next van. The extra ground clearance provided by the Outback and been extremely handy in negotiating some outback service stations and caravan parks.

Nothing major, a few small things which the dealer fixed up quickly. All good, very pleased with Jayco.
