We up-sized from a Jayco Eagle camper to this Jayco Starcraft when our travel requirements changed. We particularly liked the layout with a full ensuite, long kitchen bench and a comfortable queen bed (which is full size when extended). The bed is located at the front of the van which makes is possible to walk down either side and around the end. This caravan came with a Carefree awning which works really well and can easily be set up by one person. We would insist on having one of these awnings on any future van. The Starcraft had a light neutral colour scheme and was very easy to keep clean.
We like the Jayco vans as it possible for a tall person (6’2") to walk upright without hitting their head on anything - especially roof mounted air-conditioners that are normally situated in the centre of each van.
We chose this van as it had a relatively light tare weight for its size making it possible to tow with the vehicle we owned at the time. The tunnel boot that ran the width of the van was useful for storing long items but not as easy to access as a front boot.
The shower unit always worked very well and we particularly liked the fact that it had vent and fan fitted through the skylight in the ceiling.
