Discovery Parks – Rockhampton (formerly known as BIG4 Discovery Parks - Rockhampton) is located on the Bruce Highway, North Rockhampton and is very easy to access as you drive through this busy city in Queensland. During our visit we were greeted by Emily at the front counter who was the perfect person to have at Reception - friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the park and the region.

The Studio Villa in our photos will accommodate 4 guests with a queen bed and double bunks in the living area, A shelf sits above the double bunks which I thought was a smart way to introduce storage while keeping the unit tidy. The Villa also contained a convenient Kitchenette along the side wall and an ensuite bathroom at the rear of the building. The villa is equipped with an air conditioner and fan and this was definitely required on the very warm day we visited Rockhampton.
This Park has two pools, Recreation room, bistro, Children's playground, Tennis court (half), jumping pillow, dump point, wheel chair access, large amenities, boom gates etc. It is close to the commercial area of Rockhampton and the cabins are very popular with visiting groups.
