Mundubbera is a large citrus growing area in Queensland - just off the highway when travelling between Kingaroy and Monto. We headed into Mundabbera to have a look around and see it there were mandarins for sale - wrong time of year.
There are a couple of caravan parks in town – the Citrus Country Caravan Park on the right as you enter town is very old and a bit run down – large mandarin out the front. The other caravan park is the Mundubbera Three Rivers Tourist park is very nice and well maintained. Lots of space. These caravan parks are very popular with backpackers during fruit picking season.
Check out the great artwork on the side of the water tower.
