Flinders Discovery Museum - Hughenden

The Flinders Discovery Museum in Hughenden is located within the Visitor Information Centre. It cost $5 each to look through the museum and I thought this was a reasonable fee to help support the upkeep of this interesting collection.

Flinders Discovery Museum has exhibition of fossils and gems from around the world, as well a huge display of items discovered in the local area. Of course you will see Hughie - a life size replica of the Muttaburrasaurus. We spent several hours looking around this museum and found it very interesting - lots of information posters on the history of dinosaurs around Hughenden.

There are plenty of spaces near the Visitor Information Centre and Flinders Discovery Museum to park while towing the caravan, so if you want to call in when travelling through town - no problem .
