There are a number of historical building in the park - Homestead a typical home of early pioneers - Yalleroi School (a one teacher school) - Blackall and Yaleroi Railway Station etc. The wool industry has been very important to Blackall and there are plenty of tools from the early days on display.
Lots to see in this region and we stopped into the Visitor Information Centre to pick up the free visitor's guide. Some attractions in town are:
The Blackall Aquatic Centre (local pool) has a hot artesian spa as well as a 50 metre pool - shades are provides to protect form the hot sun. We enjoyed visiting the town of Blackall which has a relaxed, country feel.
