Tamworth Regional Playground

Tamworth Regional Playground has been created in the parklands along the Peel River and accessed via Kable Avenue near the centre of town. The playground sits alongside Hopscotch Restaurant and Bar which has alfresco dining so parents can enjoy a cuppa while watching the kids are play.

There are picnic tables and barbeque facilities at the park and a range of play equipment including:  

• bike track with traffic signs
• a miniature town with cubby house, bank and petrol station (for pretend refueling push bikes)
  
• climbing adventure
• slides and a splash park
• large swing
• flying fox
• carousel - wheelchair accessible
• sand play area
• fitness circuit

The Tamworth Regional Playground seemed to be very busy every time we visited the area - what a great addition to the town.
