Tamworth Library (Central Northern Regional Library) can be found on Peel Street in the middle of Tamworth. We visited this Library during our stay in Tamworth to catch up on some work as it was within walking distance of our caravan at the BIG4 Paradise Tourist Park.
What a great facility for locals and visitors, town providing a variety of working spaces including benches (with power points for laptops), tables with desktop computers as well as lounge chairs for a relaxing space to browse through magazines etc. The internet speed was much better than the caravan park.
Tamworth library has a huge range books and magazines, helpful staff – wonderful variety – they even lend different shaped baking tins for children’s birthday cakes (which I had known about this when my children were younger).
There are three return chutes – Books you Loved – Books you Didn’t – Everything else. They offer a Home Library Service for those unable to get out and visit the library and deliveries are made once a month by library staff and volunteers.
