Peel Street Markets - Tamworth

Peel Street Markets in Tamworth, NSW are held on the third Saturday every month. This is a huge market with stalls set up on either side of Peel Street - outside shops and on the street corners. There are a huge variety of things for sale and some of the interesting stalls we visited were:

• UnReel Furniture – made from recycled pallets and wooden reels used around the area.  Damian has seats, mirrors, plant pots etc. Will also do custom made furniture. Damian Lobsey (0437 679825
• Janice Pearson Cake Decorator – how creative is this lady.  She had a display of cakes including two made for the Tamworth Show depicting environmental  issues. www.jpearsoncakes.com. 0407018104 and on facebook 
• Curious Baby 0 -  handmade baby clothes and accessories – Alice Radburn  0428 683 447.  Very friendly and helpful and can make to order.
  
• Jan – polymer jewellery depicting Australian gum leaves – earrings, broaches, necklaces etc. - very interesting and quite reasonable

I highly recommend a walk along Peel Street during the markets and support the local people selling home made goodies.
