Milyering Discovery Centre - Cape Range NP

During our holiday at Exmouth in West Australia we spent a few days exploring Cape Range National Park. The Park Entry Station is along Yardie Creek road where all visitos must stop - fees are payable but we had purchased a yearly National Park Pass which allowed us to enter without further charge.

Milyering Discovery Centre is a little further along the road and has loads of information about the area and the whale sharks. Very interesting to browse through the centre and receive advice from the staff about the best place to snorkel - it was a very windy day and they suggested snorkelling at Turquoise Bay. A beautiful spot protected from the wind.  

Milyering Discovery Centre is open every day from 9 am to 3.45 pm, except Christmas Day. There are public toilets within the building and shaded picnic tables to sit and read through the many brochures telling visitors about Ningaloo Reef and the national park.
