Cape Leveque is the northernmost tip of the Dampier Peninsula in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Cape Leveque is 240 kilometres (150 mi) (via the Cape Leveque Road) north of Broome, and is remote with few facilities. Nevertheless, the Cape's sandy beaches are attracting an increasing number of visitors.© Wikipedia

Cape Leveque is a really beautiful spot at the top of the Dampier Peninsula. Red rocks contrast against the sand and the clear blue water. We had lunch at Cape Leveque during our day trip to the Horizontal Falls and it consisted of delicious, fresh barramundi.
There is accommodation available at Kooljaman or you can bring your own tent (perhaps use one of the permanent tents on site) and stay for a while to enjoy snorkeling, swimming and fishing. This looks like a very relaxing place to unwind.
Cape Leveque is another stunning part of the Kimberley in Western Australia.
