Visiting Native Dog Beach near Bremer Bay was a real treat - we stood and watched the surfers catch great waves that just kept rolling in. To get to Native dog beach head out of Bremer Bay along Wellstead Road, turn onto Point Henry Road and then onto Native Dog Beach Road - follow this to the end. On one side of the point is Blossoms Beach and on the other side is Native Dog Beach.
This beach faces southwest and the headland to the south (20 metres high) was a great spot to sit and watch the locals surfing. There are public toilets available near the car park between the two beaches. There is very dense bush land around these beaches and you can see houses dotted along the shoreline - very private and overlooking the ocean.
I would highly recommend that you make the effort to travel out from Bremer Bay and explore these beaches. This seems to be a popular spot with several people calling in for a quick surf after work.
