While visiting the Gourmet region of Milawa recently we called in to take a look at the beautiful Brown Brothers Epicurean Centre. This is a must see with beautiful gardens, great wine tasting centre and wonderful restaurant. We visited after lunch on a Thursday and the place was busy with families enjoying lunch and/or a glass of wine. Tables and chairs are placed in various locations around the garden in the shade of beautiful trees.
There are a huge range of wines to taste and plenty of staff on hand to make sure you are well catered.
The Patricia’s Table Restaurant serves meals using local produce with matched wines from the Brown Brothers collection. They are open for lunch from 12 noon – 3 pm and serve coffee or light meals from 11 am – 4 pm. Highly recommended as a relaxing place to spend a few hours.
Note: John Brown has developed a caravan parking area across the road from the winery which allows RVers to stay overnight. You must be self sufficient as there are not amenities but you will find a large flat area with plenty of space to park the van or motor home.
