Cohuna Gateway to Gannawarra Visitor Centre can be found on the Murray Valley highway and is located beside beautiful parkland and the Gunbower Creek. This building is quite new and there are plenty of places to park while towing a caravan. The unisex toilets located on the outside of the Visitor Information Centre are very clean and handy.
The Centre is located on a large lake which is one side of Gunbower Island - a beautiful spot along the Murray River. Make sure you look at the large model of a fish displayed on the the Lake - this apparently came from the Commonwealth games in Melbourne.
We found the lady working at the Information Centre very helpful and was happy to chat about what to see and do around town. There was a very good range of locally produced goodies and I had to buy some products made by "Sauci Sista" for my sisters - Spicy Roast Pumpkin Chutney was by favourite.
Cohuna Gateway to Gannawarra Visitor Centre is open from 9 am to 5 pm daily (closed public holidays) and a lovely place to visit in the middle of town.
