Max Bakery - Bendigo

After visiting one of the caravan parks in Bendigo we enjoyed lunch at a lovely baker before picking up our van and heading to Castlemaine. This baker was Max Bakery and Café located in a small group of shops at 172 McIvor Rd, Strathdale (Bendigo).

We wanted a pie and salad for lunch which was quickly prepared on a plate and delivered to the table - Curry pie with salad for my partner plus a meat and vegetable pastie and salad for me – delicious.  This was topped off with a very good, hot coffee.

Max's staff provided friendly service and all our things were efficiently delivered as we were in a bit of a hurry.  

There are tables inside and out and this baker seemed to be very popular with tradies as well as locals with a continuous stream of customers while we were eating lunch.
