Streaky Bay Foreshore Tourist Park

Streaky Bay Foreshore Tourist Park is a member of Family Parks and, as the name suggests, is located on the shores of Streaky Bay - found on the Eyre Peninsula of South Australia. This is a very large park and we were allocated a great drive-through site opposite the amenities block. You will need a code for the amenities which are very clean and well maintained.  

Facilities of this park include:

• On site restaurant/kiosk - gas refills
• Two camp kitchens  - well equipped
• Disabled Facilities
• Children’s Bathroom
• A range of cabin accommodation - some overlooking the water
• Powered sites including drive-through and beach frontage - some sites can cater for large rigs   
• unpowered area – sites are not marked
• pet friendly 
• Boom Gate

Streaky Bay is ideal for all water sports, perfect for swimming, sailing or water skiing - not to mention great fishing. The caravan park is located close to town and we had a lovely walk along the edge of the Bay to the Streaky Bay Hotel for a very enjoyable dinner (this Hotel had been recommended to us and we were very grateful for this advice after a beautiful meal of fresh seafood). We met up with some friends at the Streaky Bay Foreshore Tourist Park and had an enjoyable after dinner drink while watching the moonlight reflect on the waters of the Bay - beautiful.
