Ramco is a small village in South Australia on the banks of the Murray River between Waikerie and Cadell. Ramco is a major farming area with large areas of vineyards and orange orchards stretching as far as you can see on one side of the road and the Murray River on the other
Ramco has a small primary school located on Ramco Road, a Lutheran Church, a post office and some lovely old stone cottages. The Golden Heights Pumping Station is nearby and this is used to help with irrigation of crops in the area. Ramco Point and Lagoon is a great place for camping along the Murray River (about 5.5 kilometres from Waikerie) - popular for bird watching, fishing and boating.
