Port Victoria is a small town on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia and was once the site of active volcanoes - about 2000 million years ago. A Geology Trail runs south from the jetty to Rifle Butt Beach and is an very interesting to walk along and see the various various rock formations. This walk is approximately three kilometres and usually takes about two hours. A great car parking area above the jetty (start of the Trail) is very convenient to park when towing the caravan.
Brochures to guide you along the walks around Port Victoria are available from the local kiosk at the jetty.
