Marion Bay is a small town on the edge of the Innes National Park at the bottom end of the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. Apparently this is a very popular spot for fishing and attracts plenty of visitors during school holidays.
Marion Bay Tavern was a real surprise in this small village - located on the corner of Stenhouse Bay Road and Jetty Road as you enter town. It is within walking distance of the jetty with a covered outdoor deck to sit and enjoy the view. The meals were delicious and I must say the wood fired pizza was the best I had tasted for a long time - highly recommended.
The Marion Bay Tavern has a welcoming friendly atmosphere and is open for lunch and dinner - wood fired pizzas are available all day. They have a bottle shop for takeaway drinks (open during pub hours), and a motel right next door provides accommodation.
RvTrips would not hesitate to recommend a meal at the Marion Bay Tavern and will definitely call in during our next adventure on the Yorke Peninsula.
