The Berri Visitor Information Centre is housed in a wonderful looking building (quite new) on the banks of the Murray River in the middle of town. This magnificent Centre has plenty of information on Berri and the Riverland Area with a variety of maps and brochures available plus a team of friendly staff and volunteers. They are also agents for several Bus Companies operating in South Australia - Premier Stateliner Bus Service and Greyhound for travel and freight.
We found a large variety of souvenirs and local produce for sale - a good range of great gift ideas. Next to the Visitor Information Centre is a lovely cafe with shade sails and seating overlooking the water or take a walk through the beautiful parkland along the banks of the river.
