Noosa Marina - Tewantin

Noosa Marina is located on the Noosa River at Tewantin on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland. They have a range of wonderful restaurants and cafes that overlook a 40 berth marina - catering for breakfast, snacks, lunches, dinner or large functions. I can highly recommend fish and chips from the Noosa Harbour Fish Market outlet located on the marina - very fresh and cooked perfectly. The complex also has several retail outlets - clothes, hairdresser, day spa, gifts, flowers etc.

We caught the Noosa River Ferry from this marina and enjoyed the boat trip down the river to Noosa Heads. The Ferry runs daily and there is no need to book as they sell tickets on board - you can purchase a day pass which allows you to get on an off at several stops along the way. 

You should also visit the Noosa Marina's Sunday markets - from 8 am to 2 pm. Stalls are set up along the boardwalk overlooking the Noosa River and sell art, craft and local produce. These are very colourful with live music.
