Noosa Ferry River Cruises operate a daily ferry service between the historic riverside town of Tewantin along the beautiful Noosa River past Noosaville into the heart of Noosa Heads. This is a very picturesque way to travel and an 'All Day Pass' allows you to get on and off to visit shops, restaurants and cafes, at seven different points along the way.
We used this service during our holiday at Tewantin and really enjoyed the journey - the captain gave a running commentary of sites along the banks of the river, telling jokes along the way. There is no need to book as you can purchase tickets on board.
The Noosa Ferry River Cruise Company also offers other cruises within the area - for example a trip down the coast to Caloundra or the Eco Cruise which includes a guided walk through the Noosa Biosphere reserve and then morning tea on board the boat.
