Springsure - Rest Area

While travelling along the Dawson and Gregory Highways between Carnarvon Gorge and Emerald we stopped at Springsure for lunch. Just along the main road, as you enter town,\ are the William Street Parks - about 200 metres from the Visitor Information Centre. There are shaded picnic tables near the road and plenty of space for off street parking while towing the van. Public toilets are available at the VIC. 

There are a number of walking paths through the park to take a look at some of the historical equipment displayed in various locations.
